Great Atmosphere, GREAT service, decent prices, and the vegan options are good. As others have stated, if you want the all-you-can-eat option, everyone in your party must pay the $30 per person rate, but you get anything on the menu... Tip, go at lunchtime, I think it is only $22 per person for the AYCE option! As for the Vegan options. There are a few options on the menu, but they are super helpful and are willing to make it vegan for you so ask your server. We had veggie twmpura, sushi, Ramen, and chow mein, and it was all good. A bit heavy on the oil, but still delicious.

Thank goodness a good Asian Restaurant has now opened in Downtown Caldwell. I’m Filipina and we normally have to go to Meridian for good sushi. Our 1st time there today (Friday) for lunch arrived at 1pm. The All You Can Eat deal was reasonably priced and awesome. Please pay close attention to their hours of service. Kindly not destroy a new business reviews because they have to close in between lunch and dinner times. We had the Ninja & Zombie rolls and my husband had other dishes. Let’s just say we have a new regular “go to” place locally in downtown Caldwell when we are craving sushi & ramen. YaY!!! Location: where Amano used to be.

Disclaimer: Entire Menu is All You Can Eat. There is no per item pricing if you eat in restaurant. Also keep in mind this is a brand new location. We were eating AYCE sushi anyways, so for $21.99 a person it’s not a bad price. Obviously it’s sushi in Caldwell, ID but the food was reasonably good. I can definitely understand past reviews about the pricing being misleading. Biggest issue was the food took forever to come out. We ordered 4 sushi rolls, and from the time we ordered to getting the food it was about 45 minutes. Restaurant was reasonably busy, but probably 75% capacity for Monday Lunch. I did like that the sushi didn’t have a ton of rice on the roll, felt like I got my money worth. Service was slow, didn’t see our waitress very much, & finally got a water refill 30 minutes later just before leaving. This definitely wouldn’t be a place to take the family, young kids, or anyone not interested in all you can eat. If you’re looking for an AYCE sushi spot near Caldwell, this would be a good spot!

This was our first visit to Nara but definitely won’t be our last. We arrived on Friday evening around 5 pm and so it wasn’t too crowded. Perla was our waitress and she did a phenomenal job explaining how the all-you-can-eat works as well as answering any questions we had about the various rolls on the menu. The gyoza was some of the best we have had. The edamame was fresh. We ended up having three rolls (Lexie, Valentine, and Tokyo). All amazing! Our sashimi was fresh and delicious! Thank you for such a great first time experience! Thank you Perla for such awesome service!

An all you can eat sushi that includes ramen that’s not across town and is worth the price, yessss please! This was our first visit to Nara and definitely won’t be our last. We arrived on a Wednesday around 6pm and it wasn’t too crowded or loud. Sushi was fresh and the sashimi was some of the best we’ve had! Not the norm (didn’t come with the rice on the bottom) but when asked they delivered The octopus was 10/10! We sat in one of the cubes which was super cute and abnormal but there wasn’t a back rest so it got a little uncomfortable after a bit. Overall a good experience.

By far the best sushi in Canyon County! The service is Awesome, our server is so friendly! You pay 1 price, you can order anything on the menu including any Appetizers, Sushi, and Ramen. EVERYTHING on the menu, as many times as you want, for 1 price! What's not to love! We'll definitely be coming back for more!
